Hard Work
I grew up working in the West Texas oil fields. I have always been drawn to the people who do the work that keeps society moving.
My portraits are, by design, a show of respect for these wonderful people.
Real people relate to marketing that they can identify with. In todays world where CGI and AI have dissolved their trust of images in marketing campaigns, there is still a strong level of trust in images that look real, not retouched or computer generated. Photoshop has become a negative statement about a photographic presentation. The look of film, black and white images and realistic natural portraits still hold a place of trust in the consumer mind.
